School Board Members of 2019 smiling

On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, voters will elect three residents to serve on the seven-member School Board of Spring Lake Park Schools, serving Blaine, Fridley and Spring Lake Park. Each will serve a four-year term beginning in January 2020. 

These seats are currently held by Jim Amundson, Tony Easter and Amy Hennen. Easter and Hennen filed for re-election. Sarah Bowe of Blaine and Kelly Delfs of Spring Lake Park also filed an affidavit of candidacy.

There are two polling places for Spring Lake Park Schools’ residents

Blaine Residents

New! Those living in the city of Blaine vote at The Welcome Center at the National Sports Center located at 1705 105th Ave NE, Blaine MN. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Fridley and Spring Lake Park Residents

Those living in the cities of Fridley or Spring Lake Park vote at Woodcrest Elementary Spanish Immersion, 880 Osborne Road, Fridley. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents can register to vote at polling places on Election Day

Bring a photo ID with your current name and address as proof of your residency in the district. If your ID is expired or has a previous address on it, you can bring the photo ID and a document – such as a bill, service statement, lease or rental agreement – as proof of residency in the district.

Additional election information, including registering, in-person or by-mail absentee voting, and polling places, can be accessed on the Elections section of the Anoka County website or by contacting the office at 763-323-5275 or elections@co.anoka.mn.us .
