Spring Lake Park Schools is excited to welcome Erika Taibl as the district’s new director of communications and marketing.

Taibl will be responsible for strategic communications, marketing and public relations. She will bring a wealth of experience to her position, having spent over twenty years as a highly regarded leader at organizations such as Fairview Health Services, Land O’Lakes, Inc. and the Minnesota Private College Council.

She is coming from Fairview Health Services where she served as the senior director of communications since 2017. In this role she was responsible for articulating and delivering communications to enhance company reputation, inspire relationships and increase consumer perceptions, ultimately engaging 35,000 personnel, 5,000 providers and the thousands of consumers Fairview serves.

“Erika will walk in the door and add immediate value, bringing extensive experience across a variety of industries in the world of communications,” said Superintendent Jeff Ronneberg. “It is amazing to see all that she has accomplished in her previous positions, and I know she will have a positive impact in Spring Lake Park Schools as she partners with staff and community.”

She also served as the director of communications at Land O’ Lakes, Inc., where she oversaw corporate brand strategy, implemented comprehensive communication strategies across a global organization, engaged with local and international media outlets and oversaw internal communications for over 10,000 employees.

Prior to her time at Land O’Lakes, Taibl spent 10 years at Fairview Health Services as a manager of international communications and communications consultant, and also had the opportunity to serve as the assistant director of marketing and communications at the Minnesota Private College Council.

Taibl has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English & Women’s Studies from St. Olaf College and a Master of Arts Degree in English Writing from Hollins University.

"I am excited about the teaching and learning happening in Spring Lakes Park Schools, and I'm looking forward to meeting and working with the teachers, staff, students and families that make this such a vibrant community," Taibl said.
