Welcome to Westwood Intermediate and Middle School! We are a vibrant learning community serving Spring Lake Park Schools' students in grades 5-8.
While all under one roof, Westwood has separate programs and spaces for grades 5-6 intermediate students and grades 7-8 middle school students.
Each student at Westwood Intermediate and Middle School is known by name, strength, interest and need, leading to personalized student work and learning experiences.
Many portions of Westwood Intermediate and Middle School have been redesigned to provide flexible learning environments that allow teachers to meet the varied needs and interests of students.

Mona Perkins has been selected as the next principal of Park Terrace Elementary School. Perkins is replacing Kim Fehringer, who recently accepted a position in the district’s educational services department.

To better serve people in our community with disabilities and to comply with new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website accessibility laws, our new websites that launched in October featured an accessibility toolbar called AudioEye. Earlier this month, the district was notified the websites earned the AudioEye Trusted Certification and the toolbar is fully implemented.
