Spring Lake Park Schools students in preschool through sixth grade will return to learning full-time at school beginning January 21, 2021. Grades 7-12 continue in Extended Flexible Learning (distance learning) which continues to be a choice to all grade levels.

Spring Lake Park Schools students in grades K-6 will transition to distance learning (SLP Extended Flexible Learning) starting Monday, November 30. The decision is the result of escalating COVID-19 case rates in Anoka County that are impacting the community and our schools.
There are 1,973 Spring Lake Park Schools students at all grade levels who have been learning in the SLP Extended Flexible Learning (distance learning) model this fall. Teachers, students and families are sharing their experiences with a learning model that’s come a long way from the spring.
Spring Lake Park Schools students in grades 7-12 will transition to distance learning (SLP Extended Flexible Learning) as COVID-19 case rates in Anoka County continue to rise. The model will include bringing students into school for necessary in-person instruction such as labs, hands-on learning, targeted help and other services.
Spring Lake Parks Schools students headed into fall break after four weeks of a new, unusual school year. This year, four weeks of continuity in learning feels like a milestone to celebrate.
There are several ways – including many that are free – to get tested for COVID-19. A community testing event in Anoka County, Oct. 13-15, 2020 is one, along with other options happening throughout the state.
