Unauthorized or Restricted Apps
As part of our commitment for keeping students safe while on the Internet, the district enforces an age-restricted apps policy for content available for download in the Apple iTunes App Store.
If a student downloads an unauthorized or restricted app (For example, Facebook, for students under the age of 13) the student will get a notification message on their iPad that the app is unauthorized and the student would need to remove the app before they can continue to use the device.
I have downloaded an unauthorized or restricted app. What should I do?
If you find that your iOS device has been disabled due to an unauthorized app, you will need to go to your building Media Center and talk to the tech in your building to remove the unauthorized app.
