Hannah and Sophia Anderson represented the Spring Lake Park High School Opportunities in Emergency Care (OEC) program at the 42nd Annual Health Occupations Students of America International Leadership Conference (HOSA ILC) in Orlando, Florida in June, winning first and earning OEC their third world championship in four years.
To wrap up their Economics unit, second grade Park Terrace students presented their innovative prototypes in the form of shark tank presentations to staff, students and Spring Lake Park High School Business and Entrepreneurship students on Tuesday, June 4.
Spring Lake Park High School senior An Trinh and Lighthouse School eighth grader Sasha Levinshteyn were selected to participate in the American Regions Math League (ARML) National Math Contest at the University of Iowa on May 31-June 1.
Westwood Intermediate and Middle School seventh grade students participated in a STEM Trash Raft Project on Thursday, May 30, where they were challenged to build a raft and row their way across a crocodile infested river without falling in, which in this case was the Spring Lake Park High School pool.
Spring Lake Park High School senior Rebecca Kirk was awarded the $3,000 per year College in the Schools (CIS) four-year tuition scholarship at the University of Minnesota through the Department of German, Slavic, Nordic and Dutch.
