SLPHS students take the ‘plunge’ to benefit Special Olympics
March 9, 2017 – Spring Lake Park High School’s Panther Mentors and Freshmen participated in the 2017 Polar Plunge on Saturday, March 4 at Lake Calhoun.
“Our students had an incredible time participating this year,” said Panther Mentors advisor Joe Frissora. SLPHS collected $3,710 to benefit Special Olympics.
Because the ice was too thin, students ran in and out instead of jumping in. Click here to watch a video of 40 SLPHS students participating.
