Early Childhood Family Education

  • Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is for all families with children between the ages of birth and kindergarten. The program recognizes that families provide children’s first and most important learning environments and parents are children’s first and most significant teachers.

  • ECFE strengthen families through the education and support of all parents to provide the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of their children. The programs bring parents together to share the joys and challenges of parenthood and develop confidence in their own abilities.

The ECFE class experience is as easy as 1, 2, 3.......!

    1.  Together Time: Families are free to explore the classroom filled with learning activities and enjoy art, free play, songs, and stories together.

    2. Parent’s Time: Adults join together with a licensed family educator to share ideas and concerns, discuss the challenges of being a parent and feel encouraged by the support of other parents.

    3. Children’s Time: Children remain with at least two staff to learn, play and have snack together while the parents are in discussion.

ECFE operates on a sliding fee scale and no resident of the school district will be turned away for inability to pay the listed class fees.
