Preschool Class Options
Spring Lake Park Schools offers 3- and 4-year-old preschool programs that run from September through May. Read the descriptions of our four preschool formats below to see what program would work best for you and your family.
Preschool classes for the 2023-24 school year will be open online for registration on 3/1 at 8:30 a.m.
Please register earlier, classes do fill quickly.

Preschool Registration
Registration for the 2023-24 school year will open online on 3/1 at 8:30 a.m.
Classes run September 2023-May 2024. Children must be at least 3 years old by September 1, 2023 in order to be eligible for 2023-2024 preschool.
All enrollments are placed on a “wait list” until all required documents and payment are verified by the office. If you would like more information about a preschool class, please call the Early Childhood Office at 763-600-5900. All registration is done through our website. For reduced tuition information click on the Sliding Fee Scale tab below.

We are offering Preschool classes in each of the elementary schools (Centerview, Park Terrace, Northpoint, and Woodcrest Spanish Immersion). Click here to see what neighborhood school your child will attend.
If you are interested in reduced tuition, please refer to the Sliding Fee Scale tab to verify eligibility. You will need to refer to this chart when registering online and provide required documentation.
Answer online questionnaires as a part of the online registration process
The MN Department of Education requires additional family information. You will need to complete the questions while registering.
To complete preschool registration
Once you complete the online registration you will be put on a “Wait List” until we can determine your eligibility and have received the required documents:
- Your child's original certified Birth Certificate (with state seal) must be brought in person to the District Service Center (see below for the address).
The following documents must also be provided:
- Child's most recent Immunization records.
- Verification of address.
- Supporting documentation to match the financial qualifier chosen during registration if you are applying for free or reduced tuition.
Ways to provide documentation:
- Drop-off at the District Service Center (1415 81st Ave NE, Spring Lake Park) M-F, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m

If you are applying for the sliding fee, you must provide the supporting documentation to match the financial qualifier chosen during registration, you can do that in three ways:
All documentation must be turned in before your registration is approved and your child is confirmed in a class. You will receive a confirmation email once the enrollment has been processed.
