The Spring Lake Park School Board held a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 9. Here are the highlights from the meeting:
Project Updates: K-8 Computer Science/Coding and Online and Hybrid Learning – Hope Rahn, director of learning and innovation, and Jerelyne Nemanich, coordinator of learning technology, presented updates on the K-8 Computer Science/Coding project, and the Online and Hybrid Learning project. Other Action – The board took action on the following items:
- Approved a motion to award bids for the Spring Lake Park High School activities improvement projects
- Approved a resolution designating May 6-10 as Staff Appreciation Week in Spring Lake Park Schools
- Approved a motion to acknowledge gifts to the district as submitted, and extend the board’s thanks and appreciation
The board approved a motion to enter in to a closed session to discuss employee negotiations.
