Busy Bees

This playgroup is designed to be educational, yet allow you to slow down, enjoy your infant/toddler, learn new songs and meet other parents. You and your little one will spend time together exploring our stimulating classroom together. This is a drop-in class; no registration is necessary. No sibling care available.

Imagine That

(2-5 years)

Imagination allows children to practice real-life skills, and encourages vocabulary and creative thinking. For 75 uninterrupted minutes, parents and children will participate together in creative learning activities. Registration is required; use the sliding fee scale. Siblings in kindergarten are welcome to also register for class. No sibling care available.

Little Learners

Having a new baby or toddler is exciting — and challenging! Come to the ECFE to have fun with your little one and meet with other parents to talk about topics of common interest. Registration is required for each 11-week session. No sibling care available.

WOW – Wee Ones Welcome

Congratulations on the birth of your baby! Here is the perfect opportunity to come out with your infant to meet other new moms and dads and talk about life after baby, play with your little one and sing new songs together. All families will receive a sturdy tote bag filled with information and a children’s book.

These gatherings are free and open to any babies 10 months and younger living in Spring Lake Park Schools. You are welcome to also bring older siblings. If you are unable to attend a WOW event and would like to receive a tote bag, please call Barb at 763-600-5938.

Designed to let you and your little ones 0 to 4 years old wiggle, sing and learn together, the Zumbini® program is where the science of child development meets the magic of Zumba®.

Music is fun and ZUMBINI® provides a wonderful opportunity to bond with your child. Be ready to dance, sing, move and make music with your little one all while they build their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development skills. It is 45 minutes of uninterrupted time with your baby, toddler, and/or preschooler! The extra 15 minutes of class will give you time to receive support and resources from one of our ECFE parent educators and chat with other families.

Each family will also receive a Zumbini® bundle, including CD, song lyrics, parent tips and digital access to the 20 original songs of each session and a cute stuffed doll. Please go to to find out more about this music and movement experience!

Sibling Care

(ages three months-kindergarten)

Sibling care is available during all age-specific ECFE classes for siblings, three months-kindergarten age, of children enrolled in classes. Infants under three months old are welcome to attend class with the parent. Babies older than three months are not allowed in age-specific classes; please use sibling care or make other arrangements for childcare.

Sibling Care registration must be made at time of class registration.

For each 14/15 week session (fall or winter/spring), the sibling care fee is $78 for one child or $143 for 2 children.

The fee for the Preschoolers and Parents class is $22 per month, and is free for the English Learners class.
