Welcome to Spring Lake Park Schools' early childhood and preschool programs! We serve young learners and families from Blaine, Fridley and Spring Lake Park.
Our Early Childhood and Preschool opportunities are available in district neighborhoods throughout Blaine, Fridley and Spring Lake Park.
We offer classes, events and playtime opportunities designed to give families information, ideas and skills to support their child’s growth and development from birth to kindergarten.
We offer 3- and 4-year-old preschool programs, including full day + child care, half day and Spanish Immersion, to best meet the needs of your family.
If your child is three years old, we offer free Early Childhood Screening to check on how your child is growing and developing.
We have designed enriching learning environments that are appropriate for our youngest learners and that allow teachers to meet the varied needs and interests of students.
Amazing things are happening every day in our Early Childhood and Preschool programs – learn more about our stories and voices.

Last fall, Spring Lake Park Schools partnered with InClass Today, an organization that has proven success in reducing chronic absenteeism in other school districts across the country. Again this year, students in grades 6-12 who fall into our chronic absenteeism criteria will receive an absence report in the mail. These reports will be sent beginning Friday, November 29.
Winter weather will soon be here. To ensure families get the information they need around school closings or delays, or other emergency information, we will be conducting a test of our district notification system on Tuesday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m.
Three Spring Lake Park School Board seats were on the Tuesday, November 5 General Election ballot. The two incumbents running, Amy Hennen and Tony Easter, have been reelected to the school board, and Sarah Bowe of Blaine, joins the board as its newest member.
Both school levies — the Levy for Learning and the Capital Projects levy — received voter approval for another 10 years with 80 percent support from the community. School funding levels, as well as local tax levels, remain the same.
