It’s proven when kids eat a well-nourished meal they learn better and play harder. That’s why we concentrate on serving fresh, nutritious and tasty choices.
We prepare foods in our own school kitchens and buy local produce, milk and whole grain breads. We’ve added many new items to our menu in the past few years. Join us for breakfast and lunch at one of our buildings; we look forward to serving you!

Important Nutrition Services Information

Student Meal Accounts

Every student is issued a meal account accessed by a PIN number they use to purchase meals. It is the responsibility of the student’s parent/guardian to keep adequate funds in the account for purchases. Nutrition Services provides weekly low funds reminders via a caller system, emails and letters of notification to families.



Student Meal Payments

Payment may be made directly at the school to the school kitchen manager or click here to pay by credit card through the Campus Parent Portal website. 

  • Cash is not preferred due to the inability to trace payments
  • Checks should be made payable to "Spring Lake Park Schools" and include the student's name, student ID number and their pin number
  • Households with more than one child need to designate the amount of money to be placed into each child’s account
  • Spring Lake Park High School has two cash machines for students to manage their meal account, view their balance and add money

Balances, PIN #’s and meal activity

  • Choose the Family Food Service tab on the left side of the screen
  • Select a Student to monitor meal activity

Credit Card payments using Campus Portal

  1. Choose the Family Payments tab on the left side of the screen
  2. Recurring Payments – is used for automatic recurring or low balance payments
    • Add tab brings you to another screen where you can set up recurring payment choice 
  3. Food Service Account – is used for one time payments
    • Just enter the payment $____ you want on the far right and then hit the Continue tab

Free and Reduced-Priced Meals

A new application must be completed every year to continue meal benefits. Students who qualify for free or reduced meals by submitting a new application each school year will receive meals at no charge.

  • New applications are mailed to each household in August
  • Important note: Prior year eligibility status will remain in effect only until October 2018 then automatically rolls into full pay status

Refund or Transfer Information

If your student(s) leaves the district and there is a positive balance in their account please click here to complete a Refund/Transfer Form.

  • If the balance goes unclaimed it will be transferred into an angel account
  • For graduating students to request a refund/transfer, the deadline is July 15 of each year
