Meet Principal Kim Fehringer

At Park Terrace we embrace change and failure as an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to get better. I am honored and consider it a privilege to come to Park Terrace each day.

What is the best part of your day as key leader at Park Terrace?

I love the start of each day at Park Terrace. Greeting students as they enter the school and joining them for breakfast starts my day off right. Students run into the building each day eager to be at school, eager to see their friends and teachers, and eager to learn. I also really enjoy my classroom visits when I can check-in with students about their learning. These moments are insightful and they always make me smile.

What is your favorite thing about Park Terrace?

The people, students, families and staff are my favorite thing at PT. We have a collective belief that each student "can" and "will" be successful at our school. At Park Terrace we embrace change and failure as an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to get better. This is true for both students and adults. I am honored and consider it a privilege to come to Park Terrace each day.

Why I'm #SLPPantherProud

In SLP the work we do each day is about creating powerful learners rather than really good students. We are committed to knowing each student deeply and our classrooms are places that encourage creativity and ignite innovation. We are building skills within our students so they might become powerful, independent, and curious learners which will result in each child having aspirations for success. This makes me SLP Panther Proud!
