Discover Park Terrace

Park Terrace Elementary, serving students in grades K-4, works to educate the whole child.

At Park Terrace, we honor diversity and are genuinely curious about each other so that we can build deep and meaningful relationships with students, families and colleagues.

Our teachers are committed to knowing their students deeply by name strength, interest and need. With this knowledge, learning experiences are designed with each student in mind by teachers who are skilled in their knowledge of instructional strategies. Students are also encouraged to know themselves as learners. This knowledge helps create the conditions for students to be powerful, independent and curious learners.

Working in partnership with families is one of the most important things we do each day – learning with and from families to create an environment where each family feels valued, inspired and has a sense of belonging.

Park Terrace is a school where you will see stewardship in action. To us, stewardship means being of service, and taking the responsibility of overseeing and protecting something of the highest value. Our goal is to make learning authentic, meaningful, engaging and fun, and through continuous improvement, we will always work to be more successful tomorrow than we are today.
