Kindergarten
As your child begins the K-12 learning journey, we work with each student to help them discover who they are as a learner, find their joy in learning and set them on a path to career, college and life success. Explore or enroll now.
When you become a Panther:
- Learning experiences are tailored to each child's strength, interests and needs
- Small class sizes and staff support personalized learning
- Students enjoy learning in flexible, modern learning spaces
- Each K-12 student is given a school-issued digital device to support their academics
- A career and college readiness journey begins and sets students on the path to earn 12 college credits by the end of 12th grade

ENROLL YOUR CHILD IN KINDERGARTEN BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2025
This is the deadline for priority placement. While we accept enrollments throughout the year, spots do fill quickly in our Spanish Immersion program and spaces available to open enrolled students. A lottery drawing may be used.
EXPECT TO HEAR FROM US
We will send a letter to your home in late March to confirm your school enrollment. Students who applied for Woodcrest Spanish Immersion or open enrollment will receive an update at this time on their placement. Once your child is enrolled in kindergarten, someone will reach out to learn more about your family and our new student.
ATTEND A "K IN ACTION" EVENT IN MAY
Once enrollment is complete, our new kindergarten students will come to the school to experience elements of the K day with teachers. Parents will get to speak with teachers and principals about any remaining questions. Stay tuned for more specific information once your enrollment is complete.
ATTEND "KINDER CAMP" IN AUGUST
Over three half-days in late August, new kindergartners practice coming to school before any other students are there. Students tour and get to know their school building, engage in fun activities and get introduced to general school routines and expectations. This preparation helps kids gain comfort and confidence for their first days in K. Kinder Camp is completely free and transportation is available. Register for Kinder Camp.
BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION WILL ARRIVE IN AUGUST
School supply lists, transportation postcards and other important information will be available in the second half of August. Meet and Greet events for each school will take place at the end of summer. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2, 2025!
We offer full-day, every-day Kindergarten at Centerview, Northpoint and Park Terrace Elementary Schools and Woodcrest Spanish Immersion School.
