A flurry of activity flowed in and out of the high school’s auxiliary gym for the annual spring career fair. Some students roamed in groups while others opted for one-on-one conversations with targeted career partners. All left with a little more knowledge – and some swag – from career sectors that await them now and in the future.

The “Live on 65” performance series welcomes B2wins to the Spring Lake Park High School Fine Arts Center stage Monday, May 13, 2024 at 7 p.m. These Brazilian twin brothers take the stage to wrap up the season with a truly unique musical experience.

The Panther Foundation’s annual Week of Giving and Panther Party raised $142,500 to support activities and programs benefiting the students of Spring Lake Park Schools.
The 3D Student-designed objects for How To Make Almost Anything, one of the most popular courses at Spring Lake Park High School, are appearing. The Technology, Engineering and Design elective within the Career and College Pathways offerings provides a jumping off point for students to explore careers as they learn.

Studying to get through a test or grade is not uncommon, and while it is reality sometimes, it doesn’t often lead to learning a student is able to apply in life. At the secondary level, competency-based learning is an approach that aims to deliver the grade AND the skills students can authentically apply to real situations.
The journey of the emerging reader is a transformation much like that of caterpillar to butterfly. As news headlines and legislative actions focus on the science of reading, Spring Lake Park Schools is in its third year of implementing new resources aligned with practices to help more butterflies take flight.
