We worked to make the final days of high school for the Class of 2020 as meaningful as possible in the middle of a pandemic.

While virtual graduation could never replace a ceremony, the video recreates many elements of it. It  includes visual and audio recognition of each individual graduate, student speakers and messages to the class.

The ceremony is available here or watch directly on YouTube. Once the video begins playing, click the button in the lower right corner of the video to increase the video size to fullscreen

As graduation events extended into the summer and fall, please continue to share photos and videos of our 2020 graduate using the hashtag #SLPGrad2020 on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) so you can celebrate in real time on your favorite social media or by emailing

Senior Awards and Scholarships Presentation

We celebrate some of the many accomplishments, awards and scholarships achieved by students in the class of 2020. Congratulations to all of our senior award and scholarship recipients!

Students receiving awards will be able to pick up those awards when they come to pick up caps and gowns and drop off iPads. Congratulations!

Frequently Asked Questions

In-person graduation event, Aug. 1

We remain hopeful, along with many of you, that we will be able to gather in Panther Stadium on August 1 and share those special SLP graduation moments you don’t want to miss - processional, cap toss. We heard a desire to be able to “walk the halls one last time” and we’d look to incorporate that into this time.

This plan will continue, of course, to be subject to changing conditions in our state. More details to come.

Class of 2020 Stories

Class of 2020 senior Kieran Ripkin smiling

"The community and culture at Spring Lake Park Schools makes me SLP Panther Proud. The staff and students work together to cultivate a positive atmosphere that allows students to flourish during their time at Spring Lake Park and beyond. The opportunities and experiences that SLP has offered me have opened doors and new possibilities that otherwise I would not have known existed. I am proud to have been able to be a Panther."
