*Graduation will be held at Panther Stadium, unless there is a threat of bad weather. If bad weather is forecasted, the ceremony will move into the Panther gym and will require tickets. Each guest will need a ticket to enter the ceremony, including small children and babies. Tickets are issued to graduates at rehearsal Thursday morning.

- There is no charge for Handling or Tax (both of these items are included in the $28).
- If you are only ordering the Cap, gown and tassel your total should just be $28.

Dates and deadlines:
November 28, 2018 - Packets will arrive and be delivered to Senior Advisories.
December 7 and 17, 2018 - Collection of Packets will be during 4th hour (lunch) in the cafeteria.
January 31, 2019 - A $5 late fee will be applied on any orders after February 1, 2019
February 28, 2019 - An additional $5 (total of $10) late fee will be applied on any orders after March 1, 2019
April 30, 2019 - An additional $10 late fee and an additional $10 for shipping (total of $20) will be applied after May 1, and the arrival date is not guaranteed.
May 14, 2019 - Cap and Gown distribution will be during 4th hour (lunch). After May 14, 2019 cap and gowns will be located in the Main Office for pick up.

When and where is the commencement ceremony?
The 2019 commencement ceremony will take place on Friday, June 7 at 7:15 p.m.
Graduation 2019 will be held on site. Panther Stadium, 1100 81st Ave. NE, Spring Lake Park, MN 55432,
- If weather is nice – outside in Panther Stadium
- If weather is bad – inside in the Panther Gym
Ceremony begins at 7:15 p.m. Graduates line up at 6:30 p.m.
When do we rehearse?
Rehearsal will be held June 3, 2019 at 8:10 a.m. in the Panther Gym. Students should bring iPad, charger, cord and cover.
Who is eligible to participate?
All those seniors who meet the district requirements. If you have questions, please contact Student Services at 763-600-5130.
What if there is bad weather?
In the event that the ceremony is held indoors, seating in the Panther Gym will be limited. Only guest with tickets will be admitted. Overflow seating will be available in the Fine Arts Center. A final decision on the location of the ceremony, indoors or outdoors will be made by 12 p.m. on June 7. Please call the Commencement Hotline at 763-600-5990 anytime after 12 p.m. on June 7. Or visit the High School Graduation website, for information on the ceremony location.
Tickets will be issued to graduates at rehearsal on Thursday morning June 3. Each Graduate will receive 4 tickets (and will only be necessary if graduation is indoors). Every person (adult, child or baby) must have a ticket to enter the Panther gymnasium. Tickets will be give out at graduation practice on June 3. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
When will I receive my tickets?

Where do my guest park?
Parking is available onsite in the front parking lots off 81st Ave. or the Able Street lot. Street parking is also available.
What do graduates wear?
Graduates will wear Herff Jones Cap and Gown.
Where do I get my honors tassel and cord?
Honor tassels and cords will go on sale in the main office on May 22, 2019. Gold tassel is $5 and Gold Cord is $10. White NHS cords can be purchased through the NHS advisor.
How do I pay any outstanding fees?
Potential graduates will start receiving fee statements during Advisory in May. All fees can be paid at the front office desk and prior to graduation practice on June 3. Students may acquire additional fees before the end of the year. Financial obligations may include technology, lost or damaged text books, non-returned library books, non-athletic student activity fees, unreturned sports equipment, class lab fees and other items. All obligations should be settled before the day of graduation.
Note: If you have a NSF/Returned Check on your statement the school will only take a cashiers check or cash.
What time will the doors open?
Gates and doors (if inside) will open at 6:30 p.m.
Will I receive my diploma at the commencement ceremony?
No, diplomas will be sent out at the end of June once grades have been finalized and placed on the final transcript.
Will photos be taken of the students during the ceremony?
Lifetouch will be taking photos of each graduate as they pass over the stage. See the Graduation website for more information.
Where do I meet to line-up for the ceremony?
Line-up will take place at 6:30 p.m. on June 7 in the Auxiliary Gym. Don’t be late!
What if my guest has limited mobility or special needs?
If you have a need for handicapped seating (wheel chair) please contact Maria Norman at 763-600-5102.
Will the ceremony be shown on the internet?
We will have Live Streaming; see the District website.

Graduation is fast approaching for our students. SLPHS has a tradition of offering graduating seniors the opportunity to attend the Senior All-Night Party immediately following graduation. The best line of defense against underage drinking and driving and alcohol-related accidents around graduation time is to provide a safe, fun, and of course, chemical-free environment. We are proud to say that typically 85% of the Senior Class participates in this event.
The 2019 Senior All-Night Party will be at Bowlero providing students with unlimited bowling, laser tag, arcade games, pasta/pizza/wings buffet and breakfast buffet, as well as SANP favorites: casino, salon, massage, henna tattoos, boxer bingo, and a hilarious hypnotist performance. There are many exciting things to do in this festive, music-filled, party atmosphere.
On Friday, June 7, 2019, registration check -in will take place immediately following commencement – about 8:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at SPRING LAKE PARK HIGH SCHOOL (students may not drive themselves or be dropped off at Bowlero – they must be bused from the high school). Students will be bused from the High School to Bowlero by approximately 10:00 p.m. and then bused back from Bowlero to the high school starting around 4:30 a.m. The lock-in hours are from 10:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
Register by May 10: $85
Register after May 10: $100
We understand that this a big expense for some students. The cost is $85 if the student registers by May 11, 2019. Late registrations (after May10) require a lot of extra effort by the volunteer committee, so the cost increases to $100. We can accommodate a few graduation day sign-ups, so to guarantee your student a spot AND save money, register by May 10, 2019.
T-Shirts: You must register by 5/10/19 to reserve your size for the 2019 SANP t-shirt. T-shirt must be worn by every student the night of the party, and they will receive them at registration.

Scholarships - We want every student to be able to attend. If payment is an issue, please have student speak with their counselor – scholarship funds or payment plan may be available.
