Natasha Powell, a Spring Lake Park Schools' graduate, is working in a cancer research lab at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU). Powell, who graduated in 2013 from Spring Lake Park High School and Lighthouse School, has her sights set high to pursue a doctorate at Rockefeller University and conduct immunotherapy-based cancer research.
Joe Shoulak, a Spring Lake Park School's Lighthouse graduate, open a learning center called Mathnasium in Golden Valley in April 2018. The goal behind Mathnasium help children grades 2-12 excel at math by using a customized learning plan and personalized instruction in a way that makes sense to them.
Shena Tschofen, a former Spring Lake Park School's Lighthouse student, is a circus artist based in Montreal.
She graduated from the National Circus School in Montreal in 2016, and recently completed a two-year tour with Cirque Èloize's original cast of Saloon.
