Senior Brady Nelson awarded $52,000 Luther Scholarship

Spring Lake Park High School senior Brady Nelson has been awarded the Luther Scholarship, valued at $52,000 over four years, from Bethany Lutheran College beginning with the 2019-2020 school year.

“I am beyond honored and thankful to receive this scholarship,” said Brady Nelson. “Receiving this scholarship will not only bring my overwhelming tuition price down, but it also helps me acknowledge all of the hard work I have put in and how much it has paid off.”

The Luther Scholarship is based on high school grade point average and national standardized test scores.

Nelson plans on studying business and sales at Bethany Lutheran College and hopes to become a buyer for a company upon earning his college degree.
