The four SLPHS students who signed national letters of intent smiling

Panther student-athletes Kayla Devine, Cyrinus George, MaKenzee Stone and Donald (Trey) Toner III participated in Signing Day on Wednesday, February 5 and committed to play their sport at the collegiate level.

"National Signing Day is a great day at Spring Lake Park High School," says Will Wackman, activities and athletic director. "It is a joy to see our student-athletes being rewarded for all their hard work and dedication. Not only are the four signees outstanding athletes, but they are also great students and people.”

During the event, coaches introduced each student-athlete and gave insight into the student’s accomplishments, both inside and out of the classroom. Family, friends and teammates were also in attendance to celebrate and support them as they signed national letters of intent.

Signees included:

  • Cyrinus George- Minnesota State University, Moorhead (DII)- Football
  • Kayla Devine- St. Ambrose (NAIA)- Bowling
  • MaKenzee Stone- Valley City State (NAIA)- Softball
  • Donald (Trey) Toner III- Tarleton State University (FCS)- Football
