Thank you for voting yes!

Unofficial election results are now available from the November 5, 2019 election.

Both school levies — the Levy for Learning and the Capital Projects levy — received voter approval for another 10 years with 80 percent support from the community. School funding levels, as well as local tax levels, remain the same.

In addition, three open board seats have been filled. The two incumbents running, Amy Hennen and Tony Easter, have been reelected to the school board, and Sarah Bowe of Blaine, joins the board as its newest member. They will each serve 4-year terms beginning January 2020.

“As a school district, we are fortunate and grateful for strong, long-standing support from our community. The renewal of these levies supports learning and teaching in our classrooms and essential technologies throughout the district,” said Jeff Ronneberg, Ed.D., Superintendent of Spring Lake Park Schools. “Congratulations, too, to Amy, Tony and Sarah. I look forward to our work together on the school board.”

The results of the election will be authorized at our next school board meeting on November 12, 2019.
