Spanish Immersion Programming

Students who have been involved in the Spring Lake Park Schools Spanish Immersion and Juntos programming are welcomed to Spring Lake Park High School with rigorous and engaging courses instructed in the target language of Spanish.

Students going into 9th grade in fall 2019 will be given the opportunity to enroll in College Intermediate Spanish 201. Students in 10th grade can continue their Immersion experience in College Intermediate Spanish 202. These courses have been developed in partnership with the University of Minnesota – Mankato and students may receive college credits upon successfully completing it. We recognize and believe that the greatest factor in your child’s continued language development is through consistent use of Spanish language course work.

Additionally, students have the opportunity to take Art Foundation I in Spanish, where an emphasis will be placed on Latin American and Iberian art history, aesthetics and studio productions. Additional courses will be added for 2020-2021.
