ATTEND A "KINDERGARTEN NEW FAMILY" INFO EVENT IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY
Learn more about the district and school, tour the building and learn about the enrollment process. All events begin at 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 28, 2025 - Northpoint Elementary
  • Thursday, January 30, 2025 - Centerview Elementary
  • Tuesday, February 4, 2025 - Woodcrest Spanish Immersion
  • Thursday, February 6, 2025 - Park Terrace Elementary

ENROLL YOUR CHILD IN KINDERGARTEN BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2025
This is the deadline for priority placement. While we accept enrollments throughout the year, spots do fill quickly in our Spanish Immersion program and spaces available to open enrolled students. A lottery drawing may be used.

EXPECT TO HEAR FROM US
We will send a letter to your home in late March to confirm your school enrollment. Students who applied for Woodcrest Spanish Immersion or open enrollment will receive an update at this time on their placement. Once your child is enrolled in kindergarten, someone will reach out to learn more about your family and our new student.

ATTEND A "K IN ACTION" EVENT IN MAY
Once enrollment is complete, our new kindergarten students will come to the school to experience elements of the K day with teachers. Parents will get to speak with teachers and principals about any remaining questions. Stay tuned for more specific information once your enrollment is complete.

ATTEND "KINDER CAMP" IN AUGUST
Over three half-days in late August, new kindergartners practice coming to school before any other students are there. Students tour and get to know their school building, engage in fun activities and get introduced to general school routines and expectations. This preparation helps kids gain comfort and confidence for their first days in K. Kinder Camp is completely free and transportation is available.

BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION WILL ARRIVE IN AUGUST
School supply lists, transportation postcards and other important information will be available in the second half of August. Meet and Greet events for each school will take place at the end of summer.  The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2, 2025!

Kinder Camp

Your child has the opportunity to attend a free Kinder Camp in August to “practice” coming to school. Students tour and get to know their school building and engage in fun activities and get introduced to general routines and expectations.

From preschool through high school, students learn in spaces that adapt to different learning experiences and styles. All learning spaces have been renovated, built of remodeled since 2008.

 

STEM and Real-World Learning

Career, College and Life Readiness

Each Kindergartener has an opportunity to earn 12 college credits by the end of 12th grade. Along the way, they explore their passions and interests and build academic and life skills to help them succeed in career, college and life.
