Information and Enrollment Nights
It’s time to enroll for the 2019-2020 school year!
Spring Lake Park Schools is hosting a number of information nights in January and February to help incoming families learn more about our schools and programs. Learn more about the events below and we encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our district and schools.
Preschool opportunities are available at all SLP elementary schools and the District Services Center.
Spring Lake Park Schools’ four-star Parent Aware preschool program has successfully prepared Blaine, Fridley and Spring Lake Park children for kindergarten for 30 years. Drop-off, parent-child and Spanish dual immersion preschool options are available for children who will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2019.

We are hosting four Kindergarten Parent Information and Enrollment Sessions in January for families who want more information about our kindergarten program.
All sessions run 5:30-7:30 p.m. with a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Childcare will be provided. These sessions are designed for families new to the district or any parent who has questions about the district’s kindergarten program.

¡Hola! This session is designed for families who are interested in Woodcrest Spanish Immersion for kindergarten.

Westwood Intermediate and Middle School has scheduled an Information and Registration Night for current grades 4-7 families on Tuesday, February 12. This information night will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the many programs, services, and personalized learning experiences that Westwood provides.
Tuesday, February 12
- Current grades 4-5: 6-7 p.m.
- Current grades 6-7: 7-8 p.m.
Westwood offers two educational programs under one roof. Our classrooms for grades 5-6 students are on one end of the building and grades 7-8 classrooms on the other side of the building. Learn more about our programming and registering for the 2019-2020 school year at these meetings.
Spring Lake Park High School is hosting two information nights for incoming ninth grade students.
Wednesday, January 30, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Prospective students not currently enrolled at Westwood are invited to the Explore SLPHS Information Night on Wednesday, January 30 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Learn about daily life at SLPHS, including course offerings, program options, athletic and activity opportunities, and graduation requirements. This event is a great opportunity to learn how SLPHS will prepare your student for academic and career success.

Families and students who are currently enrolled at Westwood are encouraged to attend the eighth grade Registration Night and Opportunity Fair on Wednesday, February 6 from 4:30-7 p.m.
Presentations on career and college readiness (12x12), career and college pathways, getting involved, Spanish immersion and more will be given throughout the night.
