  • The Panther Capital Campaign is the most ambitious Panther Foundation project ever.  Over the next two years, we are committing $600,000 toward enhancing athletic and activities facilities.  The Foundation will use up to $500,000 of its cash available to fund this grant and over the next two years will look to raise the remaining $100,000 through this campaign.  Improvements will be made to the Fine Arts Center and the Panther Stadium - two of our largest and most visited facilities in the school district by students, staff, parents, and community members.

Panther Foundation

  • The Panther Foundation is making a difference for the Spring Lake Park Schools students. We champion exemplary student experiences and world-class learning and make it a priority to support our students and families in need. Here are some of our ongoing projects that make a lasting impact!

Panther Pantry - a food pantry for students, created by the Foundation. Students and families experiencing homelessness or emergency situations are served by the Pantry. The Panther Pantry is supported by the Panther Foundation, community organizations, individual donors and is managed by SLP students.

Weekend Food Packs - nearly 40% of SLP students qualify for reduced or free meals. For many of these children, school meals may be the only meals they eat. This program provides a pack of food that consists of enough food for a weekend or school break. The packs are sourced from the Panther Pantry

Backpacks for All - Since 2009 we have partnered to provide backpacks and school supplies to students in need.

Support for the volunteer, community-based Foundation comes entirely through contributions and special projects. These contributions are turned into grants and special projects awarded by the Foundation initiated by staff, parents and students. Since 2004, the Foundation has awarded more than $1 million dollars to Spring Lake Park Schools to fund more than 200 projects and initiatives.
