Facilities Projects at Spring Lake Park High School

The Spring Lake Park Schools facilities project includes renovation and redesign projects at each school. The following projects were completed at Spring Lake Park High School during the last few years.

Athletic facility updates

A variety of Spring Lake Park High School athletic spaces saw improvements during the Summer of 2019, which included

  • Tennis courts resurfaced
  • Fencing replacement
  • Performance gym sealed and logo updated
  • Stadium turf replacement
  • Carpet replacement
  • Press box painted
  • Lighthouse playground
  • Practice turf installed
  • Track and field event space upgrades (sod, irrigation)
  • Bleacher painting
  • Baseball field upgrades
  • Outdoor concessions, restrooms and ticket gate added

"C" Wing

The renovation of the “C” wing portion of Spring Lake Park High School was completed September 2018, with classrooms and the media center space being renovated to be more flexible learning spaces. New furnishings were also added to the spaces.


Career and College Pathways Classrooms

As part of the effort to expand Career and College Pathways opportunities for high school students, several Career and College (also known as Career and Technical Education) classrooms at SLPHS were renovated during summer 2018 to better fit current and future course offerings.

Science Classrooms

The new science classroom addition at Spring Lake Park High School was designed by teachers and students to be a flexible learning environment. The addition opened in fall 2017.

Weight and Fitness Rooms Renovation

New flooring and equipment were added in the weight and fitness rooms at SLPHS.
