Three Westwood students working on their iPads

As the 2018-2019 school year nears the end, it is time for students to turn in their district-owned iPads. Students should backup their devices by following the directions here. All devices will need to be wiped, or erased, and all accounts logged out including Find my iPad and Apple ID before turning in devices. Students will receive information on this process at school.

Students will turn in their devices starting Friday, May 31, on the following schedule:

  • Centerview: Friday, May 31, grade 4
  • Northpoint: Friday, May 31, grade 4
  • Park Terrace: Friday, May 31, grade 4
  • Woodcrest Spanish Immersion: Friday, May 31, grade 4
  • Westwood Intermediate and Middle School: Wednesday, June 5, grades 5-8
  • Spring Lake Park High School: Thursday, June 6, grades 9-12
  • Lighthouse School: Thursday, June 6, all students

Students in grades 4-8 should turn in their iPad and case. All iPads and cases should be free from tape and stickers. Chargers will not be collected. Students will be allowed to keep their chargers over the summer.

Students in grades 12 and non-returning students should turn in their iPad, case, keyboard, charger and cord. Please have the correct charging brick; iPhone chargers will not be accepted. Fees will be applied for all incorrect or missing iPad case parts.

Each iPad will be inspected and any necessary fees will be issued over the summer.
