Spring Lake Park High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America organization (FCCLA) has been selected as the 2018-2019 State-Level Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety (FACTS) award winner and the 2019 National Financial Fitness Runner-Up winner.
The chapter is being awarded the FACTS award for their efforts in a Public Service Announcement to help other youth make informed, responsible decisions about traffic safety.
They have been selected as the 2019 National Financial Fitness Runner-Up winner for their efforts in helping other youth become strong family members and leaders now and in the future.
The FCCLA chapter will be awarded $500 for the FACTS award and $500 for the National Fitness Runner-Up winner, which will be presented to them at the 2019 National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA this summer.
