The fall season typically runs from mid August-mid October. The season will normally end after the last Varsity football game. Practices are typically 3-4 days a week. To be eligible for the fall dance team season dancers must be in the 7th grade during the fall season, may be in 6th grade for spring tryouts. Fall performance members perform during half time at home Varsity football game. Fall dancers will also perform at several community events, including the state fair parade and local dance shows.
Our biggest event is our Fall Dance show. This is a great opportunity to see dancers from across the metro area. For more information, please visit the Dance Show page. Dancers on the fall team will learn several routines, including a pom style and hip hop routine. Other routine opportunities will include: parade routines, boy/girl for those in high school for homecoming week, father/daughter dance for the dance show and other mini routines through the season. Fall season also serves as an opportunity to work and develop skills needed for the winter competitive season. For more information for the winter competitive season please visit the winter dance team page or contact Coach Jenny Whiteley, firstname.lastname@example.org .
Tryouts will be held May 14-16th from 3:45-6 in the high school Panther Gym. Please wear dance shoes or tennis shoes, non baggy athletic wear and hair tied back. Please bring water as well.
