COACH NIKKI
"My purpose as a coach is to help develop resiliency, responsibility, compassion, and respect in my athletes. My purpose is to help each dancer develop necessary skills to be successful in themselves by utilizing the four character skills as well as developing their abilities to be positive teammates to one another for the common goal of the entire team and the dance program."
Nikki has danced for over 20 years. Her experience includes: studio competition, Eastview LDT, UWEC dance team, directing a dance program in college and international all-star dance. This is her fifth year coaching MN high school dance team. She graduated with a BA in psychology from UWEC and holds an MSW from University of St. Thomas and St. Kates.
COACH BRITTANY
Brittany Rehling grew up dancing at Larkin Dance Studio. She has trained in jazz, tap, hip-hop & lyrical. She is about to begin her 14th year as the winter head Coach of the Roseville Dance Team. This will be her second season with the Spring Lake Park fall program. Before coaching fall at SLP, she spent 6 years as the head fall dance team coach at Hill-Murray School. Brittany is also on the MADT (Minnesota Association of Dance Teams) board of directors, and enjoys spending time advocating and promoting growth for our sport of dance team. She is super excited for another fun and exciting season with SLPDT 💙❤️
COACH ALI
Ali has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She danced competitively with Larkin Dance Studio in Maplewood, MN through her High School Career. During college, she danced for the College of St. Benedict's Dance Team. She then began her coaching career coaching two years for the St. Ben's Dance Team. She now is the Head Varsity Dance Coach for the Cretin-Derham Hall Dance Team in St. Paul.
COACH JENNY
"I coach to give these young women the great experience I had while dancing in high school. The experience of making lifelong friends, teamwork, and having fun. I want to guide them through an experience they will never forget."
Jenny has been dancing for 15 years through studio dance and high school. She took some time off dancing to focus on her degree in college. Jenny attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. Currently, she works in the Spring Lake Park School District teaching Preschool Special Education. This is her fourth year coaching with the SLP Fall Performance Team.
