Alpine Skiing
Spring Lake Park High School is in a co-op with Centennial High School to offer our students the chance to be a part of the Alpine Skiing Team! Fast is fun!
What you need to know about this season
- Centennial is the host school
- Alpine Skiing is open to students in grades 7-12
- The start date is November 14, 2022. For the bulk of the season, the team trains on Mondays and Tuesdays at Wild Mountain and leaves Centennial High School at 3:15 p.m. sharp. On race days, the team will leave Centennial High School around 1 p.m. Students are responsible for getting to Centennial to catch the bus.
- Students are responsible for purchasing their own ski passes
- Students can either use their own ski equipment or they can rent equipment on their own
- Register for Alpine Skiing. Cost is $200 + ski pass to Wild Mountain

- Compete in the NWSC at Wild & Trollhaugen
- Compete in Section 7 at Giants Ridge
- State Championship at Giants Ridge
How we get there
Students take a bus to training and races
Equipment needed
- Alpine skis, boots, bindings, poles
- Helmet / Goggles
- Cold weather gear based on weather conditions
- Alpine Ski Racing specific equipment
- Shin guards, pole guards, helmet
- Speed suit
