Spring 2019 Season

Who

Any Spring Lake Park Schools student, grades 6-12, who possess a State Firearm Training Certificate and meets all school curricular eligibility requirements.

Schedule

Spring season will run eight weeks, starting Wednesday, April 3 with a mandatory Safety/Parent meeting, March 27 that 6 p.m. at Metro Gun Club Education Building, 10601 Naples St NE, Blaine, MN 55449.  Registration deadline is March 20, 2019.

  • Trap: Wednesdays, April 3, 10, 17 and 24, May 1, 8, 15 and 22
  • Skeet: Thursdays, April 4, 11, 18 and 25, May 2, 9, 16 and 23

*A student may participate in either or both leagues.

Where

All shoots for both Trap and Skeet start at 5:45 p.m. at Metro Gun Club.

Cost

Trap or Skeet (students shooting both leagues must pay two registration fees):

  • $185 due via credit card to Spring Lake Park Clay Target Club at the time of online registration.
  • Cost of 16+ boxes (25 rounds each) factory ammunition, estimated at $100 -$200 (out of pocket for student, not due at registration). Cost doubles if registering for both trap and skeet.
  • Student must provide own shotgun, shell pouch, and eyes/ears protection.
