On Friday, June 8, over 375 Spring Lake Park High School seniors walked across the stage to receive their diplomas as part of this year’s commencement.
After a successful season and sectional meet, four members of the Spring Lake Park High School track team are state-bound to the section AA state meet at Hamline University on June 8 and 9.
Two Westwood Intermediate students started a passion project around Down Syndrome this year and raised $2,410 to get their friend and classmate an adaptive bike.
At Spring Lake Park High School’s 28th annual Academic and Scholarship Awards night students were honored with academic and achievement awards. Thank you to the local businesses, organizations and families who gave scholarships to almost 90 seniors!
Spring Lake Park Schools will once again participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to all children ages 1-18 at Park Terrace Elementary School.
Spring Lake Park High School Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and FCCLA student organization advisor Lori Henry was recognized for the Lead Teacher award of the Lead2Feed challenge, which demonstrated SLP’s FCCLA team leadership and creativity for their service project.
