My name is Tom Larson.  I am proud to serve as the principal of Westwood Intermediate.  Our mission is to prepare every student for middle school. 

 

Watching our fourth and fifth graders radiate excitement for learning I try to envision their future.  With technology advances and global connections,  I know they will face a much different world than the one you and I grew up in.  They will enter jobs that don't even exist yet and face problems that we don't know are problems. 

 

It can seem overwhelming, but then I consider the amazing staff here and our core beliefs that guide our work.
