Welcome to Kenneth Hall Elementary School!

Dear Families:

Welcome to Kenneth Hall Elementary School! We are located in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota and are a part of Spring Lake Park School District 16.  At Kenneth Hall we are:
  • a school where individual needs are met with innovative and effective instruction.
  • a professional learning community where we support the whole child in a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • a school where there will be no limits to the academic success of each student.
Kenneth Hall is a kindergarten through third grade elementary school with a diverse population of 400 students. With varied academic, social, and emotional needs of the student population, staff has taken a responsive approach to assuring students are successful and reach their full potential. We have identified the following priorities that we need to focus on to continually improve student learning. Kenneth Hall Staff will:
  • use assessment data and tools to guide our instructional decisions to meet the individual needs of all our students.
  • work as a Professional Learning Community in collaborative teams to improve student learning.
  • create a system of learning that provides timely response and support to meet the learning needs of all students.
  • communicate and provide a safe, and healthy learning environment within the school and community.
The commitment and professionalism of the Kenneth Hall staff is replicated by involved families and a community that views its school with pride and value. As we move forward, together with our staff, families and community, Kenneth Hall Elementary will create ever-higher expectations and educational experiences that challenge ALL students to ensure their success.

Kenneth Hall gives students a warm, caring atmosphere to learn and grow. Our school offers each student a high quality education with opportunities in many academic areas. To meet the needs of our students we offer programs such as Gifted and Talented and English Language Learning cluster classrooms, All-Day Kindergarten, Basic Skills programs, and student support services. We also have specialist teachers in the areas of physical education, music, art, and media.

We are also fortunate to have an active PTA and volunteer program. The PTA meets monthly and sponsors many social activities for participation by our school community. Parent volunteers are welcome and instrumental in assisting students, teachers and other staff members in creating successful educational opportunities for each student at Kenneth Hall.

We invite new members to our community to tour our school and see the students, staff, and families in action. Please make an appointment so that we are able to give you the time and attention you deserve.

I look forward to meeting you!

Mike Callahan
