*Critical financial need ($50,000 or less adjusted gross income per family is preferred

*Involvement in co-curricular and community activities

*Minimum GPA of 2.0

*Be a citizen of United States

The DAR Good Citizens program and scholaship contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship.  The program is open to all seniors.  The student selected must have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.  Please see scholarship drawer for instructions.

BY NOMINATION - SEE YOUR COUNSELOR-

 *Are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American

*Are a citizen/legal permanent resident or national of the U.S.

*Have a GPA of 3.3

*Will be enrolling for the first- time at a U.S. accredited college or University as full time, degree-seeking  first year student in the fall of 2009.

*Meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria.

*Have all three required forms (Nominee Personal Information Form.

Nominator Form, and Recommender Form) completed and submitted by the deadline.

Undergraduate music majors/minors and non-music majors/minors alike are eligible to audition for North Park University music scholarships.  Undergraduate auditions are Saturday, February 14, 2009 and Saturday, February 28, 2009.  See scholarship drawer for more information and contact address.  All auditions, live or by CD, must be completed or postmarked by Monday, March 2, 2009.
