Four Westwood Middle School 8th graders were nominated –and accepted—into the 2012 Minnesota Band Director's Association Regional Honor band.
The honored musicians and their musical instruments are Jenny Boston, Euphonium; Jonathan Just, French horn; Arianna Hady, clarinet; and Amira Shanaa, flute.
These students were selected from among hundreds of musicians from the central region of Minnesota. They will participate in all-day rehearsals, followed by an honor band performance, on the evening of Saturday, January 21 at Elk River High School.
