Homecoming Week offers events for students and the entire community
UPDATE: Panthers win the Friday, Oct. 11 football game by a score of 52-0. A very, very, very good way to end Homecoming Week.
Spring Lake Park High School's October 7-11 Homecoming Week - "Send Them Back to Their Nest" - will feature spirit-filled events for students, but there are also some great opportunities for families and the entire community to participate as well, especially Friday, Oct. 11's tailgate event, parade, and football game. Here are some highlights:

Powderpuff Football Game, between the high school's junior and senior girls, 5:45 - 6:45 pm, Panther Stadium

Homecoming Coronation, 7:00 pm, Fine Arts Center, $5.00 admission for all
UPDATE: Congratulations to Homcoming royalty crowned Wednesday, Oct. 9:
- Freshman Princess/Prince: Natalie Bornee, Josh Ojile
- Sophomore Princess/Prince: Erin Guse, Sam Gregerson

Pepfest, 1:55 pm, Panther performance gym
Tailgate Event, 4:30 - 6:30 pm. A fund-raiser for student groups and clubs featuring food, booths, and family fun outside the main entrance's rotunda.
Parade, 5:30 pm. The route is along the front driveway of the main entrance, passing right in front of the tailgate party.
Football Game, 7:00 pm, Panther Stadium. Spring Lake Park vs St. Louis Park, $4.00 for students, $6.00 for adults, free for age 65 and above. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the tailgate party. (No access though the school.)
UPDATE: Panthers win 52-0. Pretty good Homecoming result.
