Panther's Ejodamen Ejiya is WCCO and StarTribune Player of the Week
Congratulations to 
Ejodamen Ejiya who was named WCCO TV's Player of the Week on October 22. The junior dual-threat student-athlete is the leading rusher and tackler for the Spring Lake Park High School football team. Ejodamen currently holds the school rushing record with 1,406 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Two weeks earlier, Ejiya was named StarTribune Prep Athlete of the week. The newspaper said: "The junior running back/linebacker never left the field in the Panthers' 32-13 victory over Irondale. He rushed for 246 yards and scored three touchdowns and made 14 tackles, nine of them solo.
