Deadline to reapply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals benefit is now
All families are welcome to apply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals each year. It takes two minutes to fill out -- family size and household income is all you really need to complete the form, or if you currently receive benefits from the county, you'll just need a case number -- and the savings are great (Reduced-price lunches are 40 cents).
Please note that if you received free or reduced-price meals in the past, you must re-apply each year. You will lose this benefit beginning Oct. 1 if you don't re-apply.
If you need to reapply, or want to submit an Application for Educational Benefits for the first time, this form is available in your school office, it is an insert in your district Calendar and Resource Guide, and it is on the district website under Nutrition Services.
