All students will get new key pad numbers for meals in 2012-13
Effective for the 2012-13 school year, the Spring Lake Park Schools Nutrition Services Department is implementing a very positive change, a new key pad system called "Universal Key Pad Numbers."
The system used in the past required a different key pad number any time a student would progress from one school to another (such as from a K-3 school to Westwood to the high school).
The new system creates only one key pad number that each student can use at any school to access their meal account. This will be the key pad number for as long as the student is enrolled within the school district.
What does this mean for students?
Each student will receive a new key pad number for the 2012-13 school year.
When will students receive their new key pad number?
A letter will be mailed from the Nutrition Services Department in mid-August.
Will the student's account balance transfer with their new number?
Yes, all balances will transfer.
