Spring Lake Park High School Back to School Open House

1:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 28, 2012

We would like to welcome all families of incoming 9th – 12th grade students to attend the SLPHS Back to School Open House on Tuesday, August 28. This day is designed to give students and parents an opportunity to “take care of business” prior to the start of school, including picking up a class schedule and taking a yearbook photo, tour the school, and more.

You are highly encouraged to attend.

All students can pick up their final schedules between 1:00 - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 28. All students will also have their pictures taken for photo ID's (including seniors) and yearbook (grades 9-11).

Schedules will be available on Parent Portal on Wednesday, August 29.

At the Back to School Open House, you and your student will have the opportunity to:

• Pick up your class schedule
• Take your student yearbook photo
• Sign up for clubs
• Register for a Parent Portal Account
• Update Parent Portal and Census information
• Deposit breakfast & lunch money
• Get answers to your bus transportation questions
• Update the Emergency Health Card

Families should plan on at least an hour to complete all required stations above.

If you are unable to attend this 1:00 – 7:00 pm event, class schedules will be available on the Parent & Student Portal on Wednesday, August 29. Please note: There will be a $1.00 charge for the Student Services Department to print and replace any lost schedules.

New Parent Meeting - Meet the High School Administrative Team
Open to all and highly recommended for parents of 9th grade students and new students, you will have the opportunity to meet high school principal Jane Stevenson, associate principals John Franke and Steve Brady, and activities director Matt St. Martin.
