We are excited that the school district's newly-designed and updated website went online on Tuesday, June 19. We know that the first days and weeks of moving to a new website can result in a few areas requiring additional attention as we continue to make adjustments. Additional content and a few more features will be added yet this summer.

The previous version of the website has served the district, its schools, and its departments very well, but no substantial updates were made in the past five years. The 21st century brings ever-changing technology and ever-increasing expectations of the school district's website as the primary delivery system of resources and information to students, staff, community, and the greater public.

With over 100,000 visits each month, and over a million per year, the Spring Lake Park School District's website must keep up with changing technology, with the expanding expectations of a 24-hour-a-day source of information and delivery of services.

We hope that students, parents, staff, and community discover improved ease of use and functionality, many of the most current features available, as well as a unified, professional image throughout. The new website brings the district up-to-date with current technological trends and allows for better integration in the future as new online tools become available.

Users will notice new features such as language translation, easy access to district and school social media, and a new, fully interactive calendar of school events.
