A number of students in grades K-8 participated in this year’s Minnesota School Bus Safety Poster Contest, sponsored by the Minnesota Association for Pupil Transportation and coordinated by Spring Lake Park School District’s transportation department.
This year’s theme was “Be Aware-Know the Danger Zone!” School-level winners are listed below. One poster contest-entrant, Westwood Middle School’s Zoey Vingie, has had her poster forwarded on to October's national contest.
These students' award-winning posters successfully related their design to school bus safety practices, and demonstrated originality, quality, and visual impact in their poster designs.
