Six from track and field team earn All-State honors

Jesse Reemtsma, grade 11

Devonte Roach'e, grade 12

Devon Fleck, grade 11

Lindsay Trappen, grade 10

Justin Little, grade 11

Bria Jones, grade 11

The Spring Lake Park-St. Anthony Village track and field team capped a dream season when six members of the team earned All-State honor at the June 11-12 State Track & Field Tournament.

The 4 X 100 meter relay team of Devon Fleck, Justin Little, Devonte Roach'e, David Shadduck (St. Anthony Village) finished 5th in the state.

Jesse Reemtsma took 5th in the state in discus.

Bria Jones took 6th in the state in the 300 meter hurdles.

And, Lindsay Trappen, the school’s seventh entrant, finished 10th in the high jump (in which the top nine medaled.)

Previously, the Panthers track and field team won its second consecutive North Suburban Conference championship on May 20.
