Early Entrance
Applicants for Early Entrance Kindergarten students received after May 10, 2008 will receive notice of their application status to the Spring Lake Park School District within four weeks, and notice of school placement by August 15. Intra-District Transfers
Resident students of Spring Lake Park Schools may apply to attend a school that is outside their elementary school's attendance boundaries, yet still within the school district through what is called an Intra-District Transfer. Intra-District Transfers are approved on a space-available basis. For more information, contact Tammy Kaiser at tkaise@district16.org. Applications are accepted year-round, however the priority consideration application deadline for fall enrollment is generally February 1 of each year.
Non-Resident/Open Enrollment
Non-resident students are welcome to apply for open enrollment in the Spring Lake Park Schools for the 2008-09 school year. You can click the start enrollment link above to start the enrollment process and get the necessary forms for open enrollment. If you have any questions you can contact Tammy Kaiser by e-mail at tkaise@district16.org. Applications received for incoming K-3 students after February 15, will receive notice of the status of their application to Spring Lake Park Schools within four weeks, and notice of school placement by August 15. Applications received for incoming students in grades 4-12 after February 15 will receive notice of the status of their application to Spring Lake Park Schools within four weeks. Visiting/Touring Students, parents, and families are always welcome to visit their new or prospective schools and to take a tour if desired. To do so, check with the school office to schedule an appointment. We will be happy to meet with you and give you a true sense of what makes each school special.
