Amy Schultz, District 16 director of business services (left), accepted the award from the Association of School Business Officials-International from Colleen Vranish, School Board chairperson.
At the August 11, 2009  School Board meeting, the district once again received the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials - International.  The district is a multiple-winner of this award, most recently for it's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2008.
 
Spring Lake Park School Schools is one of just over 20 school districts in Minnesota honored for excellence in financial reporting. 
 
The district's bond rating has also been upgraded four times in five years.  Story here:  School District 16's bond rating upgraded 4th time in 5 years
