World Languages

  • Continue world language study, identify K-12 world language offerings and design implementation for fall 2016 and 2017

Why: Several emerging influences require an evaluation of our world language programming: students in our immersion program will be moving to the middle school in 2015-16, colleges frequently require two years of world language coursework in high school, and the number of heritage speakers in our district is increasing. We need to survey and assess current practices within our world language program, and redesign programming to address these emerging influences.
