The Spring Lake Park School Board held a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 14.
The site and design for the district’s new preK-4 elementary school was unveiled at the February 14 school board meeting by Superintendent Jeff Ronneberg and members of the Elementary Core Design Team
After winning the Section 3AAA championship in both jazz and high kick, the Spring Lake Park Pantherettes will advance to the state dance tournament for the 13th consecutive year.
Spring Lake Park High School head football coach Jeff Schlieff was named the 2017 Jerry Kill Power of Influence award winner. The prestigious award, given by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association, honors one coach annually who has been a positive role model for their team, school and community.
At its December 13 meeting, the Spring Lake Park School Board approved the 2017 property tax levy. The district chose to under levy by $957,085. In doing so, taxpayers will see a lower school district tax amount on their final property tax statement than was sent out on the proposed statements in November 2016.
